Visit North Norfolk, a membership organisation, is the official not-for-profit Destination Management Organisation (DMO) for north Norfolk, commissioned by North Norfolk District Council and affiliated with the east of England LVEP and Visit Britain.
The role of Visit North Norfolk is to support businesses by promoting the area as a holiday destination through its website (a comprehensive official visitor guide) and integrated marketing campaigns. This helps north Norfolk tourism businesses achieve a higher profile than they would alone. Find out more about becoming a member.

Visit North Norfolk and North Norfolk District Council worked together as part of a Visitor Economy Network Initiative (VENI). VENI aimed to bring educators and SMEs closer together, and at the same time create opportunities for young people to develop work-ready skills and participate in, and learn more about, their local visitor economy.
The project was developed in response to a call for proposals from the European Social Fund Managing Authority in England and has been developed as part of the New Anglia LEP Visitor Economy Sector Skills Group’s core work:
LEP skills group is for businesses and wider stakeholders involved in the Visitor Economy across Norfolk and Suffolk.
The project work aimed to understand, and provide solutions for, skills gaps and skills shortages across this broad sector, to be a voice for business concerns about skills in the sector, and in particular to provide a forum for businesses to influence the curriculum, particularly in further education, where the qualifications taught.
The delivery partners included: Visit East of England, North Norfolk District Council, Visit North Norfolk, Suffolk Growth Programme, Great Yarmouth Tourism Association, East Coast College, Suffolk New College and West Suffolk College (lead).
Four key strands provide the framework for project activity:
1. developing the Visitor Economy workforce;
2. supporting young people through a Visitor Economy Youth Pledge: encouraging SMES to get involved through business networks; create a package of exciting events across the region, which galvanise local communities;
3. engage local colleges;
4. and promote the region to visitors.
Visit North Norfolk continues the work by acting as a link between schools and employers promoting opportunities and highlighting careers in the north Norfolk visitor economy.
