High chairs, travel cots, bed guards and childrens steps can be requested on booking. There is a laundry room on site.
Further afield there is a large play park with swings, a large slide, fast zip wire, large sand pit, tree house and spring free trampoline. In the summer there are football goals out too.
Inside there is a games room offering table football, a pool table and table tennis.
In the paddock we have sheep, and in the spring, lambs too! We have 25 acres of land, with a grassy path around the fields, a great place from which to spot deer, boxing hares and red kites.
One of our favourite attractions is the "Map Room" with its huge map on the wall, tourist information, and where our team can advise guests on where to go, what to do, and new for 2022 tailor made adventures allowing you to explore unknow and quiet areas that are a secret to other visitors!
SURROUNDING AREA:
North Norfolk is the perfect place to come for a holiday.
On your doorstep you have woods and fields and walks, some off road. The historic Georgian town of Holt is less than 10 minutes drive and offers restaurants (Meadosweet just being awarded a Michelin star in 2022!), take aways, delis, cafes, antique shops (in abundance) and everything you need to cook up a storm in your cottage
The coast is only 15 minutes, and our coastline has one of the very best stretches of sandy coast in the country. Six beaches in north Norfolk have retained their Blue Flag status in 2021. Keep Britain Tidy has awarded Blue Flags for Sheringham, Cromer, Mundesley, Sea Palling, East Runton and West Runton, and a seaside award for Hunstanton.
Baconsthorpe Castle is a bicyle ride away, the National Trust property Blickling Hall (home of Anne Boleyns family) 14 minutes by car and Norwich, a unique gem packed with history is a 25 minute drive south.

Map & Directions
Road Directions
From Norwich (the south):
Take the B1149 from Norwich to Holt. Just
before you enter the village (please do not turn left to Edgefield Street as this will take you well out of your way!) you will see the Pigs pub ahead of you on the right, on a crossroads. Turn right (east) just after the pub, towards Plumstead.
After half a mile, on your left you will see our large white "Wood Farm Cottages” sign, (situated just inside our lane). Turn down this long lane; towards the end take the second left into the car park (the lane just before leads to a private car park).
From Kings Lynn/Fakenham (the west):
Take the A148 to Holt. We would recommend you do not go via Melton Constable; although it is closer in distance guests do often get lost here! From Holt take the B1149 to Norwich. You will first see the Edgefield sign well before the village. Then you will see another one with still a mile to go. Drive through the village until you see the Pigs pub on your left (on a cross road and just past the Edgefield Garage which is on your right).
Turn left (east) onto the Plumstead Road just before the pub.
After half a mile, on your left you will see our large white "Wood Farm Cottages” sign, (situated just inside our lane). Turn down this long lane; towards the end take the second left into the car park (the lane just before leads to a private car park).
Public Transport Directions
You can arrive at Wood Farm by car, taxi, plane (Norwich International airport is only 25 minutes away by taxi) or by train (Sheringham train station is 20 minutes away by taxi, Norwich Station 45 minutes by taxi.
