The Sea Marge Hotel

About

The Sea Marge was originally built as an Edwardian private home. Now lovingly restored, it is a Grade II Listed Luxury Seaside Hotel bursting with heritage and nostalgia. Located in the quiet clifftop village of Overstrand, The Sea Marge boasts unparalleled views out to sea and is brimming with original features around every corner to remind you of its historic associations with Winston Churchill who was a frequent visitor to Overstrand and ‘Poppyland’ – a fashionable holiday destination for the rich and powerful at that time.

Featuring 25 en-suite rooms, each decorated in their own style in keeping with the ambience of the Edwardian building yet with all the amenities expected in a hotel of this calibre and, for the ultimate in luxury, a deluxe wing offers larger suites.
Discover quiet suntraps in the 5 acres of well-tended gardens where terraced lawns run down to the coastal path and beach and the bustling seaside resort of Cromer is just 2 miles away.

Enjoy the extensive menu at the in-house Frazer’s Restaurant with something to suit everyone or dine al fresco with covered dining in the Rose Garden. Sundays is ‘Roast on the Coast’ day and also popular are the Seafood Platters. Perfect for morning coffee is the Clement Scott Bar – named after the famous Poppyland author.

With attentive yet unobtrusive service, you will be assured of a stay so memorable you’ll want to return time and time again.

Dog friendly rooms available.

Look out for seasonal deals throughout the year including exclusive breaks for Thursford Christmas Spectacular plus Christmas.

Next to an unspoilt beach.
