Teddy Bear Express, Bure Valley Railway, 15 to 23 February 2025.
All aboard the Teddy Bear Express on Bure Valley Railway this February half-term! And children go free this week! (Free travel for every child with a full fare-paying adult, max 2 children (0-15 years) per adult). Children can also take part in a themed activity for their journey and teddy bear lunch boxes will be available to purchase (not included in ticket price). Wells & Walsingham Light Railway, 15 - 23 February 2025.
Hop aboard the world's smallest public railway and take a half hour journey through the north Norfolk countryside between the seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea and the beautiful Abbey village of Walsingham. Your unforgettable trip back in time clanks over and under bridges, chuffs past a hill-fort and through a real ghost platform. Children 4 and under go free. Find out more.
Children's Nature Workshop at Holkham Hall, 16 February 2025.
Inspire a love of nature with the ar nature workshop, 'Make a Lapwing' with Sarah Wise from the Fairyland Trust. Lapwings are beautiful birds that can be found on the Holkham National Nature Reserve in the winter months. At this workshop, learn about this elegant bird and make your very own lapwing to take home. The workshop is for children aged 3 and up, and each bird will be made using sustainable materials. An adult must accompany their child during this 45 minute art workshop. Afterwards, head to the woodland play area. Find out more.
Wroxham Barns Lambing Live, 15 - 23 February 2025.
Step into the heart of lambing season this February half term! Join the team for an unforgettable adventure as they welcome new life to the farm. Walsingham Abbey Snowdrops up to 2 March 2025 (10am to 4pm).
Take a look at this magical, natural wonder at Walsingham! The carpets of snowdrops, mingled with aconites, have naturalised throughout the 18 acres of grounds and woodland, and along the banks of the River Stiffkey, running through the Abbey Grounds. The snowdrops usually begin to come up by early January, begin to open by the end of January, are in full bloom in mid-February, and stay in bloom until early March when the flowers fade. You can also see snowdrop displays at Thorpe Market on the 2, 9, 16 and 23 February 2025. St Margaret`s Church in Thorpe Market will be hosting its popular 'Snowdrop Sundays' where not only can you enjoy the snowdrops in the churchyard, but there will also be an art exhibition in the church each weekend; books and crafts for sale and hot and cold refreshments available.
Browse around Brinton Hall to enjoy the snowdrop displays on 7, 14 and 21 February. Brinton Hall is a beautiful 16th century house with an impressive garden, including a snowdrop theatre. The tour consists of a snowdrop walk, lunch and tour of the house. Snowdrops for sale.
At Hoveton Hall Estate, on 13 and 16 February 2025, you can join an intimate tour of the snowdrops, where the head gardener will guide you through areas of the estate not usually open to the public. Afterwards enjoy a tour inside the hall by the owner, followed by a light lunch.
National Trust Properties Felbrigg and Blickling Estate will have their fair share of snowdrops within their grounds and Sheringham Park will most certainly have a good display during the season. Crazy Courtship at Pensthorpe, 15 to 23 February 2025.

At Sheringham Little Theatre, join in with The Adventures Of Captain Calamity on 18 February 2025 and on the 21 February, there is Puffling Percy, a family show. Find out more here.
At Wells Maltings, there's something on for junior witches and wizards! Join in a magical morning filled with creative fun to make wands, spell books, and mandrakes. Be sure to wear your best wizarding robes! This event is perfect for children aged 4 and up. For younger witches and wizards under 7, an adult must stay by their side during the spellbinding fun. For a day of dinosaur adventure, head to ROARR!. Enjoy heritage rail journeys on North Norfolk Railway, see impressive mini model railway layouts at Wroxham Miniature Worlds and then try your luck in the OId Penny Arcade. See South American animals at Amazona Zoo in Cromer and visit an underwater world at Sealife Hunsanton. National Trust properties are also open over half term at Sheringham Park, Blickling and Felbrigg.
