Cromer Pier is a Grade II listed, 151 metre-long traditional Victorian pier that offers a full day out for all of the family - dogs included!. At the heart of Cromer, the pier offers breathtaking views of the North Norfolk coastline, a unique spot for crab fishing and is home to the only end of pier show of its kind in the world. As a historic and unique attraction, Cromer Pier has something for all ages to enjoy, come rain or shine.
Cromer Pier is also home to the Pavilion Theatre, one of only five UK end of pier theaters and home to the award winning Cromer Pier Show, the only full season end of pier show in the world. The theatre sits 500 in traditional theatre seats that capture the rich heritage of the venue. The Cromer Pier Show runs through the summer season from June to September, whilst The Cromer Pier Chirstmas Show runs from November to December.Expect all the usual West End production values from both of our shows, including a jaw-dropping 8-meter video wall, delivering impressive special effects alongside unique and traditional scene sets, creating a visual sensation. Add to that, dazzling bespoke costumes, spectacular lighting effects and so much more. Audiences can be sure of laughs by the bucket load, thrilling specialty acts, powerhouse vocals, music and spellbinding dance routines. During the rest of the year, the Pavilion Theatre welcomes touring shows, comedians, tribute acts and more.
There are also two food and drink outlets on the pier. Tides Bistro is a friendly, welcoming, and utterly unique venue to dine above the waves on the stunning North Norfolk coast with stunning views and romantic sunsets to die for. Tides Bistro is also proud to be dog-friendly. Tides Bistro offers a peaceful and tranquil contemporary ambience and those incredible views. Experience the charm of Cromer Pier whilst enjoying a premium drink at the Pavilion Bar. Choose from a range of alcoholic, soft and hot drink as well as local ice cream and a range of light bites. The Pavilion Bar is also proud to be dog friendly. Road Directions
The Pavilion Theatre is positioned at the end of Cromer Pier (NR27 9HE). Whilst there is no parking available on the promenade, vehicles are able to drop off and pick up at the front of the pier, including local taxi services.
Where Can I Park?
North Norfolk District Council Pay and Display car parks in Cromer include Runton Road, Cadogan Road, and Meadow Road, all of which are free from 6pm.
Free side street parking in the town or along Runton Road is subject to availability, please check restrictions prior to parking.
The NNDC Pay and Display disabled parking bays are located on the promenade at the bottom of Melbourne Slope by the petrol station. Please ensure that a valid Blue Badge is visible on your dashboard. Spaces are limited, please arrive in good time.
Public Transport Directions
Cromer Pier is a 15 minute walk from Cromer Train Station. You can get the Bittern Line from Norwich and Sheringham. Find out more about Greater Anglia services here.
