Horse racing at Fakenham Racecourse - passing the Prince of Wales Stand

About

Since 1905, there has been uninterrupted racing at Fakenham (except for during the two World Wars), and today's race-goers continue to relish the excitement and buzz of a day at the races from the autumn through to early summer. The rural setting and simple charm of Fakenham Racecourse creates a unique friendly atmosphere where you are close to the action. Fakenham offers the very essence of National Hunt racing and we recommend you dress according to the weather so you can thoroughly enjoy the day.

We also have a unique caravan and camping site with electric hook-up and stands available around the racecourse. We have amazing new toilet and shower facilities and a pot wash room. With the Gallow Sport Centre next door, racing on the doorstep and Fakenham Town a 15 minute walk away you are also within 20 minutes drive of the beautiful North Norfolk Coast.

Our site, including a variety of fabulous buildings, are available to hire either as a whole or depending on your requirements.  We have rooms that can accomodate from 8 up to 200, and we work with our catering partner, The Crown Inn, East Rudham, to provide exceptional lunches or dinners. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
