This 29-mile cycle ride takes you from the historic town of Aylsham into a beautiful area of peaceful countryside, through picturesque North Norfolk villages and lanes.
Start at the historic market town of Aysham and from here, the route heads north along quit county lanes, through gently rolling landscapes and picturesque villages, including Baconsthorpe, Itteringham and Hanworth. Along the way, you can explore historic stately homes including Jacobean Blickling Hall, Mannington Hall and 17th century Felbrigg Hall. Also along this route, you can discover some of Norfolk's round-towered churches, visit the 15th century remains of Baconsthorpe Castle and take a ride on a real narrow gauge steam railway.
The route links with the Marriots Way and a short ride across Alysham town links to the Weavers Way and the Bure Valley Railway and Path. At Felbrigg the route links with the Norfolk Coast Cycleway.
