North Norfolk is home to many artists, artisans and studios. There is an array of art and crafts people, who create, exhibit and sell their unique wares including pottery, jewellry, pictures, candles and gifts. Often, you will find hubs of artists where you can visit and see them at work in their studios, and even take a class in creating your own art.
Head to Alby Crafts and Gardens, Wroxham Barns and Langham Glass to see artists and crafts people at work. You'll then have the opportunity to buy their unique works as well as browse the on-site shops. Dalegate Market has pop up shops selling a range of locally produced wares and look out for the Spring and Christmas markets where you can buy original creations. For works of art and antiques, head to the Georgian town of Holt and browse the charming streets and alleys where you will find independent shops, galleries and studios.

For 16 days each year in May/June, Norfolk Open Studios celebrates the county’s artists and their achievements. Artisans open their doors to the public to exhibit, sell and talk about their work. It's a great opportunity to see new art, meet artists and buy original artworks directly from the creators. There is the chance to speak to the artists and find out more about their inspiration as well as support local businesses through buying their creations. It really is a fantastic experience and worth a visit.
