About

Nestled in the mid-Norfolk countryside, just alongside The Marriott’s Way and just 1 mile from the Georgian town of Reepham, Whitwell and Reepham Railway Station has been lovingly restored to its former glory. Re-opened in 2009, nearly 50 years after it was closed to passengers, our fantastic team relayed track and sidings, acquired rolling stock and brought the old station and signal box back to life.

The Railway Station is a wonderful place for both locals and tourists to visit. Why not hire a bike and take a ride along The Marriott’s Way, before settling in the café for a cuppa and a slice of cake? Or explore the museum and station, then enjoy a pint in our sunny garden? And at the weekends, no visit would be complete without a ride up and down the track on one of our treasured trains. We are proud to host a fabulous array of events throughout the year, including our ever-popular Steam Rallies

“The Sidings” café and bar, the station museum and shop are open throughout the week. Pop along for a cuppa and cake, or a pint and a meal. A warm welcome is guaranteed! We have a sunny, enclosed rear garden, perfect for relaxing. Railway enthusiasts and families alike will want to make the most of their weekend visit with a train ride along our track. Dogs are welcome.
