Join us for an enchanting guided tour of the night sky at Blakeney Village Hall! Please book your place using this link - https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1031013287497?aff=oddtdtcreator
Using a powerful laser pointer, our expert guide and well-known astronomer Mark Thompson will explain the workings of the sky, the nature of stars, and point out constellations and other celestial objects of interest. This outdoor session will last approximately one hour. Please dress warmly and consider bringing a deck chair for comfort.
Indoor Session: Following the outdoor tour, there will be a shorter indoor session which will showcase images of objects discussed during the tour.
Weather Contingency: In case of poor weather, the event will transform into a 'Guided Tour of the Universe.' This 90-minute indoor session will explore the universe and how astronomers uncover its mysteries.
