In this 2.5 hour craft session participants will be introduced to the art of rag rug making! This is a great opportunity to work with a variety of textiles, have fun with like-minded participants and tune into your own creativity! Participants will follow a guided, step-by-step process and will be shown two different methods for creating types of rag rug.
Participants will be shown examples and given clear step-by-step demonstrations of the two different techniques. They will then create one type of rag rag in the session. Both methods require no specialist tools or sewing and if participants do not finish during the session they can take materials home to complete their project at home!
All materials and full guidance will be provided. All abilities welcome. Please bring a bag to use to take home your creations.
Please bring your mobile phone to video some of the steps in case you need to refer back to finishing off steps after the session.
