In this 2.5 hour craft session participants will be introduced to the art of weaving! This is a great opportunity to work with a variety of textiles, have fun with like-minded participants and tune into your own creativity! Participants will follow a guided, step-by-step process and will be introduced to a variety of simple weaving techniques, tips and tricks. Participants will be shown examples and given clear step-by-step demonstrations of different techniques. They will then create either a woven placemat or simple purse/handbag in the session. If participants do not finish during the session they can take materials home to complete their project at home!
All materials and full guidance will be provided.
All abilities welcome.
Please bring a bag to use to take home your creation.
Please bring your mobile phone to video some of the steps in case you need to refer back to finishing off steps after the session.
