Join us for an immersive photography walk at Sheringham Park designed to help you see and appreciate your environment in new and exciting ways. Through a series of engaging exercises, you'll learn to notice colours, textures, and details, as well as the broader landscape.
Activities:
Photography Treasure Hunt: Kick off with a fun treasure hunt where you'll capture a list of themed items.
Colours and Textures: Explore how light affects colours and textures, and observe how these elements change with the shifting light.
Sky Photography: Focus on photographing the sky, considering shapes, colours, textures, framing, and silhouettes.
Paint Chart Activity: Get creative by renaming paint chart colours to match the landscape around you. This activity is a fun and engaging way to connect with the environment and usually results in lots of laughs.
What to Bring:
Camera (any digital camera is fine, including mobile phones)
Comfortable walking shoes
Weather-appropriate clothing
Note: We'll adapt the activities based on the group's interests and technical abilities, ensuring everyone has a memorable and enjoyable experience. We will be doing the yellow route which is marked as accessible and is a total of 1 mile or 1.6km.
The Sheringham Park Cafe have agreed to stay open for hot drinks especially for this event so please join us to take a look at wht you've come up with over a cup of tea.
Parking is available on site. Please note, unless you have National Trust membership, you will need to pay for parking using the pay and display machines that are around the car park.
