Weavers' Way is a 61 mile walking route from Cromer to Great Yarmouth passing through Hanworth, Blickling, Aylsham, Acle and Halvergate.

Linking the north Norfolk coast at Cromer to the east Norfolk coast at Great Yarmouth, Weavers’ Way passes through a diverse landscape of woodland, mixed farmland, disused railway lines, riverside walks and the famous Norfolk Broads.

Along its route, as well as passing many areas of wildlife interest, the Weavers’ Way takes in several market towns and country house estates and passes numerous medieval flint churches and tower wind pumps that are characteristic of this part of the county.

The name Weavers' Way comes from the cloth industry that was once a major industry in the area, leaving its mark with extraordinarily grand churches and historic country manor houses.

Some parts of the trail are available for cyclists and horse riders.

Directions to start:The walk starts from the pier of the delightful seaside town of Cromer. The town was first mentioned in 1262 as a port known for crab fishing (for which it is still famous) and became a fashionable health resort by the time of the eighteenth century.

Weavers’ Way links with several other Norfolk Trails: 
At Cromer, join the Norfolk Coast Path (which heads west, right along the coast to Hunstanton) or the Paston Way (which meanders along to link again with Weavers’ Way, in North Walsham).
At Aylsham join the Marriott’s Way to Norwich.
At Great Yarmouth pick up either the Wherryman’s Way to Norwich along the Yare Valley or the Angles Way along the Waveney Valley, a full 93 miles to Thetford.
